Concrete structure surface finishes

Mechanical, chemical and climatic effects may impair concrete structures substantially of fully and cause serious problems with their use. Therefore concrete surfaces, first of all concrete floors as ones of the most stressed structures, must be protected. Different synthetic or cement based surface finish systems have been developed for the aforementioned purpose. Our company cooperates with recognised world manufacturers guarantying top quality of their products in this area.

Design of a suitable surface finish technology

We will design a technology for realisation with suitable material based on assessment of sub-floor quality and a character of operation with exactly defined load coefficients.
A high-quality sub-floor which should meet the following requirements is a decisive factor for a long service life of the floor:
• sufficient compression strength
• sufficient detachment strength
• dry, matured concrete (humidity up to 4%)
• surface flatness

Sub-floor preparation

The surface must be prepared sufficiently – cement milk, cohesionless particles, eventually old coats, dirtiness, grease, etc., must be removed before application. Dust-free surface blasting, grinding, milling, and degreasing are suitable procedures. Cracks and scabbing, if any, must be treated in a proper manner before laying the floor.

Surface finish variants

We apply different surface finishes on a high-quality prepared sub-floor according to a character of operation and the customer´s requirements:
• coats
• self-levelling screeds - epoxy, polyurethane, cement
• plastic concrete
• aesthetic floors with colour silica sand
• anti-skid floors
• antistatic, conductive floors
• chemically resistant floors
• rapid setting floors (can be loaded mechanically after 2 hours)
• special floors for food industry
